About this tools directory

How do you pick the tools featured here?

We feature tools we use ourselves, that match the workflows of working content creators (YouTubers, podcasters, video editors, streamers), and that have transparent pricing. Some links are affiliate links, we earn a small commission if you upgrade through them, at no extra cost to you. We never feature a tool we have not personally used.

Are these the only tools that matter?

No. This is a curated short list, not an exhaustive directory. We deliberately skip tools that feel half-baked, predatory, or that solve problems other tools solve better. New entries are added as we test them. If a tool you love is missing, drop us a line on the contact page.

Do I need every tool on this page?

Definitely not. Most creators run on a stack of 3 to 5 tools total: one video editor, one stock-asset subscription, one mic, one design tool for thumbnails, and one growth tool. Pick the one in each category that matches your budget and workflow. The free options (DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, free TubeBuddy) cover most needs.

How do I credit FreeVibeVault tracks when I use these tools?

In your video description, podcast show notes, or game credits, add: Music by [Artist Name] via FreeVibeVault. That is the only requirement, all our music is free for commercial use under Creative Commons BY 4.0.
